2. What we sell

Printed by hand in the studio in Bern: originals (A4 and A3 linocuts), small formats and sets. Shipped from Bern: postcards, printed in Switzerland; they are not signed.

Made to order by our print partner in Europe and shipped directly: posters with wooden hanger, canvas prints, framed reproductions, T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, water bottles and tumblers.

Gift cards are sent by e-mail.

Material, dimensions and manufacturer are given in each product description. Colours may look slightly different on screen than in reality.

3. Prices and shipping

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and are final prices. RC prints is currently not liable for VAT; the prices therefore do not include any stated value added tax. Shipping within Switzerland costs CHF 12.00 per order, or CHF 5.00 for orders containing only postcards; from an order value of CHF 75.00 it is free.

4. Delivery time and delivery area

We deliver exclusively within Switzerland. All items are delivered within 14 days of the order; gift cards arrive immediately by e-mail. If you order items from Bern together with items from our print partner, the shipments arrive separately. Framed works are shipped as a parcel, carefully packed in cardboard and bubble wrap. Items from Bern can be handed over in person in Bern by arrangement.

5. Import and customs

Items from our print partner are made in Europe and imported into Switzerland. For a single low-priced item there are usually no import charges. For more expensive items or larger orders, the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security may levy import VAT; the postal service or courier additionally charges a handling fee. These charges are not included in the price and are collected on delivery.

6. Conclusion of contract and payment

You place items in the shopping cart and go to checkout. There you enter your contact and delivery details and choose the payment method. Before completing the order you see all items, prices, shipping costs and your details in one overview and can correct input errors at any time or cancel the order. By clicking the button to pay you place a binding order.

The contract is concluded with the order confirmation by e-mail. Payment is made in advance using the payment methods offered at checkout. Payment by invoice is not possible.

7. Originals

Originals are cut by hand and printed by hand. Each print is signed and numbered in pencil and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Each motif is published in an edition of 45 numbered prints. Small variations between individual prints are intentional and not a defect.

8. Small formats and sets

Small formats are hand-printed linocuts in an open edition. Each sheet is signed and dated in pencil and carries a stamp. They are not numbered and have no certificate of authenticity. Small variations between individual prints are intentional and not a defect.

9. Reproductions and items from the print partner

Posters, canvas prints, framed reproductions, T-shirts, tote bags, water bottles and tumblers are machine-printed from a scan of the hand print; the hoodie is embroidered. Signature and logo are part of the print or embroidery. These items are not signed by hand, not numbered and have no certificate of authenticity.

10. Returns

When buying from a Swiss online shop there is no statutory right of withdrawal. All works are made by hand or specifically to order, so we do not take back ordered goods. If a shipment arrives damaged or the print is faulty, we will replace it at no extra cost; if a replacement is not possible, we refund the full purchase price. Details are set out in the refund and returns policy.

11. Copyright

All motifs are works by Richard Červenka. The purchase transfers ownership of the item purchased, not the right to reproduce, commercially use or redistribute the motif.

12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of performance and jurisdiction is Bern. For consumers, the mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction apply; in particular, they may sue at their place of residence (Art. 32 Swiss Civil Procedure Code).
